OUR PILLARS💫
The heart of our sorority is in our love, friendship, and sisterhood. Sisterhood extends beyond undergraduate years and truly lasts a lifetime. With over 6000 sisters internationally, there will always be a family away from home.

Some sisterhood events we have had include game night, DIY hot pot dinners, movie nights, and more! Every year, our Northeast sisters get together at our Northeast Sisterhood Rally in the fall, and our Northeast Sisterhood Conference in the spring. In the spring we hold our annual formals where we are able to get together and celebrate any achievements accomplished throughout the semester with our lovely alumnae.
Sisterhood
Scholarship
We highly value academics and strive to achieve and maintain academic excellence. aKDPhi contains a breadth of academic and career resources for sisters, such as study groups, tutoring and mentorship, and study banks. Our alumnae offer job connections, advice, as well as scholarships for our active sisters.

Our chapter consistently holds one of the highest GPAs in the National APIDA Panhellenic Association Council (NAPA). Because our sisters come from a diverse range of majors, from accounting to pre-med, we are always able to reach out to one another for help.
Leadership
We aim to cultivate women to become young leaders. aKDPhi provides a variety of leadership opportunities, with sisters becoming leaders in the APA community, National APIDA Panhellenic Association Council, and most importantly, within our own organization. Leadership roles within the chapter help sisters grow. With many positions in our organization, it is easy for sisters to quickly get involved and grow as leaders.
Our chapter also has a strong passion for being involved within both the Binghamton and university community - many sisters are involved in other student clubs that allow our chapter to get involved in other issues as well! As an organization, alpha Kappa Delta Phi also offers numerous professional networking opportunities internationally.
Asian Awareness
We place an emphasis on Asian culture. As an Asian-interest, but not Asian-exclusive, organization, we strive to promote Asian awareness in the community and educate others about our culture.
We often co-host events with the clubs from the Asian Student Union as well as other affiliated organizations. We host numerous workshops regarding Asian Culture and Asian Awareness. Some events we have participated in are Binghamton Chinese American Student Association's China Night, and Korean American Student Association's K-Night & K-Banquet.
Service
We stress our national philanthropy, Breast Cancer Awareness. Nationwide, we have raised over $250,000 throughout the years for breast cancer research. During National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, you can find us fundraising throughout campus and educating the community about breast cancer awareness. We also hold our annual Charity Ball in the Mandela Room in which all ticket sales get donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Each year, we help by donating over $2000 to the cause.
